The overall objective of the project is to provide background analysis for the preparation of the national Rural Development plan 2021-2027. The scope of the project is to summarise research results in relation to agriculture sector (including sub-sectors) development, land availability, mobility and restructuring, sector ageing, challenges of food sector development.

It includes also analysis of context, impact and result indicators and target values of them. The outcomes of the project are research based proposals for support policies and proposals for realistic quantitative ambitions for the future.
